The membership fee is proportional to the veterinarian’s income and is fully deductible in personal taxation in Finland. In some cases you can apply for a membership fee discount.

Veterinarians licensed in Finland and those studying veterinary medicine in Finland or abroad can be accepted as members of the Finnish Veterinary Association.

Want to join? Here’s how it works:

  • Fill out the membership application form here
  • Your application will be reviewed at the next Board meeting. Check meeting dates here under subject ”Kokoukset”
  • You will receive approval notification via email
  • Applications submitted after the November Board meeting are reviewed in December, with membership starting on January 1
